LTATM EP 22 Recap:
Spotlight — Creative Women of the PNW

Episode 22 brings the energy full circle.

After highlighting the voices behind the movement in Episode 19, Let’s Talk About The Music steps into the room and captures it live — Spotlight: Creative Women of the PNW.

This isn’t just a show.
It’s a moment.

A space where women in music come together to be seen, heard, and celebrated for what they bring to the stage and beyond it.

The Experience:

From the moment the event began, the atmosphere was filled with creativity, connection, and support.

Featuring Performances By:

Meghanne Storey — Creative Growth and Authentic Voice

Meghanne Storey stands as a reflection of dedication, creativity, and growth within the PNW music community.

Her journey highlights what it means to stay true to your voice while navigating the challenges of being an independent artist. Through her music and presence, Meghanne brings authenticity and intention — creating work that resonates beyond the stage.

She represents a new wave of artists focused on building something meaningful while evolving along the way.

Sunny Loudin — Bold Energy and Creative Expression

Sunny Loudin brings bold energy and a fearless approach to her artistry.

Her work reflects confidence, individuality, and a strong connection to creative expression. Whether on stage or within the community, Sunny shows what it means to fully step into your identity as an artist.

She represents artists who are not afraid to take up space, push boundaries, and continue growing in an ever-changing music landscape.

Gina Belliveau — Soulful Storytelling and Presence

As part of LTATM’s spotlight on creative women of the PNW, Gina Belliveau brings a powerful blend of emotion, storytelling, and stage presence.

Her performances carry a depth that connects instantly with listeners — drawing them into the music through honesty and expression. Gina represents the kind of artist who doesn’t just perform songs, but shares experiences.

With a strong sense of identity and artistry, she continues to carve out her space in the music scene while inspiring others to do the same.

Each artist brought something unique to the stage — from powerful vocals to heartfelt storytelling — creating a night that felt both personal and inspiring.

This wasn’t about competition.
It was about community.

Behind the Scenes Support

Events like this don’t come together without the people working behind the scenes — and this one was no exception.

A big thank you to Ali from Basement Root Entertainment, drummer for Digging for Change and 3 Quarter, for her support and presence throughout the event. Her dedication to both music and community continue to make an impact in the PNW scene.

And of course, we can’t forget her sidekick — Jasper the rock dog — bringing a little extra personality and charm to the night.

More Than Music

What made this event stand out even more was the presence of women-led businesses supporting the experience.

From creative vendors to community builders, this wasn’t just a music event — it was a collaborative space where women uplifted one another across multiple paths.

Why This Matters

Events like this aren’t just important — they’re necessary.

  • They create space.

  • They build visibility.

  • They inspire the next generation.

And most importantly:

They remind us of that woman in music — and in business — are not a “category.” They are a force.

LTATM EVENT REVIEW:

The leaders behind this event, Meghanne Storey and Sunny Loudin, did an incredible job bringing together creative women from across the PNW.

On March 23rd, 2025, the event featured powerful performances, amazing vendors, and a strong sense of community — including yours truly representing LTATM.

Having coordinated festivals and events for many years, I can confidently say this was a well-executed and thoughtfully put-together event.

Hosted at the Spanish Ballroom in Tacoma, the venue provided a breathtaking backdrop for a night that truly celebrated creativity and connection.

I’m hoping Spotlight: Creative Women of the PNW becomes a yearly tradition.

Spanish Ballroom in Tacoma

Everyone had an amazing time. The venue, Spanish Ballroom in Tacoma, was a breathtaking space that continues to support and host local music. Known for hosting a wide range of live shows and community events, it has become an important hub for musicians in the area.

Originally built in 1911 as part of the historic McMenamins Elks Temple, the Spanish Ballroom has long been a gathering place for music, dancing, and community events. After years of restoration, the space was brought back to life while preserving its original character — from its large open dance floor to its vintage architectural details.

Today, the Spanish Ballroom blends history with modern live music culture, giving artists and audiences a unique space to connect. From local showcases to touring acts, it continues to play an important role in Tacoma’s creative scene.
